James Mantle Barclay (b. 02 Oct 1750, d. 12 June 1793) was the 7th Baronet Barclay of Pierston superseding his brother in 1769. His first commission on 04 Mar 1777 was to 2d Lieut, Amazon, 5th/32 (commissioned in America by Lord Howe, confirmed 07 Apr 1778 by Admiralty [ADM6/21/387]).
