After the capture , arrival of a squadron of english ships , the "Portsmouth" without mast , is burnt to avoid his retrievial

Captain : George Saint Loe tué au combat.
vaisseau : PORTSMOUTH : démâté et amariné après 3 heures de combat mais une division de vaisseaux anglais apparaît à l'horizon . le vaisseau MARQUIS est trop lent avec le PORTSMOUTH en remorque pour échapper à l'ennmi. donc le PORTSMOUTH est brulé.
