Unicorn vs Hermione

The British 9-pounder 28-gun frigate Unicorn, Captain Matthew Moore, cruizing in the Channel, fell in with, and engaged the 12-pounder 28-gun French frigate Hermione. The action lasted five hours, at the expiration of which, the French crew having suffered severely, the Hermione surrendered. This prize was added to the British navy under the name of Unicorn's Prize.
