Expedition to the coast of Angola

The ship "Nossa Senhoa da Atalaia" was sent to the coast of Angola (Cabinda) commanded by Capitã-de-Mar-e-Guerra José de Semedo Maia. It attacked on 23 October the Cabinda English Fort. She stormed and captured the fort, and captured two English corvettes that were protecting the bay.

In November it attacked a Dutch frigate and sank it.
