DescriptionNWL

Skoryi and Bityug were stationed near to Kinburn to await the arrival of the Vladimir (66) and Alexander (54) with some storeships. The Russian vessels were attacked by an Ottoman bomb vessel and 10 other craft. The action appears to have been indecisive as after three hours the Russians withdrew towards Kherson with a loss of 4 men.
