A naval battle during the Eighty Years' War in which a Dutch fleet of 24 ships and 700 sailors, destroyed a larger and better-equipped Spanish fleet of 30 ships 1300 sailors on the Zuiderzee. The Spanish lost 6 ships and 300 sailors captured.
