Captain Richard Hughes (b. abt 1670, d. 11 Nov 1856, buried 19 Nov 1756 at St Nicholas, Deptford, Kent) was Commissioner of the Portsmouth Dockyard from 1729 to 1754. Some of the ship assignments on your website for this RN Captain are incorrect.
