The clerk's copy or register copy of the Consistory Court of Canterbury will of a Tobias Pye was proved on 1 July 1742. Reference no.: DCb/PRC32/62/134. This Tobias Pye was the son of Royal Navy lietenant John Pye [junior], 1676-1735. He was baptised on 23 June 1714 in the parish church of Deal, kent, England.
