The ship appointments did indeed have the incorrect rank attributed. All good now

Did Spry really get demoted from RA of the White to RA of the Blue as the sequence above suggests? Looks like a slip When George III reviewed the fleet at Portsmouth in June 1773, at which he was present from Plymouth in the 'Ocean'(90), he was knighted as RA of the the White as you say on 24 June, so already past RA of Blue
