Jacob Willemsz Broeder died by a bullet on the 15.11.1692 on his ship Grijpskerk. His luitenant Willinck took the ship over and sailed to safety.

I think that Jacob Willemsz Broeder was born in 1635 in Edam were he died in 1692
He is mentioned in the DTB as baptised 28-03-1635 Edam.
His parents were born en died in Edam.
Could you please write me why you have Gouda as birtplace?
