There is something amiss with information regarding ships shown as built by Pierre Coulomb. Several are attributed to Pierre but dated prior to his birth or while still in his cradle! It is my belief that Père Coulomb, as his Grandfather Laurent was known has been misread as Pierre. My particular interest is le Hazardeux built at Lorient attributed to Pierre in several references. Anyone have conclusive proof?
