Notes on Officer

Molé's Report in Support of the Retirement Order, dated December 10, 1817)

"He was not entitled to a pension, unless it was considered two years later that he was not included in the organization of December 9, 1815 and that he had been granted the proportional pension provided for in this case, since he had the minimum of ten years of service.
This pension is very low, since he had not passed the last rank of the corps.
The hypothesis is plausible if contact was lost during the year 1815.
If moreover Jobert is a Bonapartist, Molé was able to give him a "flower" because his disappearance is suspicious and should have triggered an investigation
