I have been researching my family tree and I am very confused about Sir Thomas Rich and Ann. I have an Ann Willis in my tree who had a son William Willes. He in turn had 6 natural children with Mary Brooks born 1799. She is my 4th great grand mother. There is no proof of these links. Do you know if William Willes Sir Thomas Richs son? If so, I wonder why he did not take the Rich name when the 6 natural children he had with Elizabeth Burt did. Any help would be appreciated. regards. Pamela Langton
