Son of Walter Burke, Purser on HMS Victory at Trafalgar, Brother of Walter Burke, who died of injuries received in the Chevrette incident 1801. My 3x great grandfather James Dominick Burke served as surgeon on HMS Seagull, under Henry Burke for two years and left the vessel a few weeks before she foundered and was lost off the Channel Islands.
