John Drummond was capt. of the Dover but not the Sulphur. His death was reported to his family in Newport, Rhode Island, USA, on 2 May 1794. His wife received "letter and etc. from Mr. Duncan" on 25 June 1794 (Journal of William Engs, Newport Historical Society; Mr. Engs was father-in-law to JD.)
