A few additional facts for your file:

George Le Geyt married Rose Mary, daughter of Retired Rear Admiral William Heath on December 21, 1812.

On the 4th of July, 1840, he received the Order of the Bath.

On the 1st of October, 1846, he was promoted to Retired Rear Admiral

George Le Geyt's grandson, Henry William Pitcher, was awarded the Victoria Cross for his service in India.
