Composed of 1 Armoric Division, 1 Norman Division, 1 Provencal Division and 2 Genoese Divisions) sent to the aid of the Venetians by Louis XII from February to the end of 1501. Jean de Porçon commanded "La Charente" , François de Porçon commanded a Norman Division of 6 vessels . During the attack on Mytilene, 10/26/1501, Petit-Porcon was killed by a cannonball while disembarking . Grand-Porcon , wanting to avenge his brother , stormed the fortifications and was seriously wounded the same day . He died of his wounds in Chio and was buried in the Cordeliers church on this island , next to Jacques Coeur.
