I'm a family history researcher in the UK. I am coming across stories in the Cumberland Pacquet newspaper of Sept 14 1779 about skirmishes between a privateer called the Black Prince and British merchant vessels in the Irish Sea. Is this the same or a different Black Prince? Contact me for more details.
