He capture close off the Spurn the Nimble schooner of Aberdeen and the Brig Mary of Lynn : put 10 mens on board .

The brig is retaken by  HMS Inflexible the same morning of his capture .

My GGG Grandfather was Surgeon in INFLEXIBLE his share of the prize money for ALERTE was Two Pounds Nine Shillings
