Copy of a letter from Captain Mends, of His Majesty's Ship the Arethusa, addressed to Admiral Lord Gambier, and transmitted by his Lordship to John Wilson Croker, Esq.

His Majesty's Ship Arethusa, off the MY LORD, Saints, March 17, 1810.

 I have the honour to acquaint you of the capture of La Levrette French Schooner Privateer, of 4 guns and 30 men, this morning, by His Majesty's Ship under my command; 4 days from Rochelle, without having taken anything.
