owned by Andrew Curcier of Philadelphia. Lettre of Marque #520 commissioned 14.11.1812, master David Maffett. Re.commissioned #635 on 2.03.1813, same master (297 tons, 16 guns, 130 men).Seized 26.06.1814 by HMS Hyperion, taken to Plymouth 14.07.1814 (18 guns 50 men). 1816 owner Spurrier, master Farmer reg Plymouth (328t) Sold as British merchantman Upton owned by Sanworth of Liverpool. Acquired on 15.01.1826 by the Argentine Government and commissioned on 07.02.1826 as Republica Argentina. Sunk by the Brazilian warship at Monte Santiago battle on 07.04.1827.
