I am confused. This reference and Lawson, Nelson's Navy, p.55 refer to gunboats with two forward cannon. Every image, including in Lawson and NMM shows Hamilton gunboats with single forward cannon. Were there two different designs? Are there any plans/images of a three-gun gunboat?
