FYI - From "Records of the Ayrshire Militia"
August 12 1809 - Arrive at Portsmouth and embark on board three transports for Leith.
August 14 1809 - Drop down to Spithead
August 22 1809 - Sail under convoy of the Dextrous Gun-Brig, Captain Tomlinson.
