Racehorse armed schooner, captain Nugent, lost captain and boat's crew, prisoners to Spanish at St. Geo. Key, 19 Sep 1779, but Lieut Trott defended ship, withdrew. Frigate Pomona drove Spanish out of St. Geo. key, and Capt Nugent and prisoners freed. Nugent armed and manned captured brig. Trott continued to command Racehorse up to and during capture of Omoa --?not Sep but October -- see London Gazette, Dec 18,1779.
