Doing some work on an extensive archive of letters and other documents in Wiltshire History Centre. Archive reference 2664/3/4D/2/10 contains a bill of sale of 1/16 of the 'good new ship, Macclesfield, now in the River Thames': from Robert Hudson, senior, London, merchant, to Mr Henry Davenport, London, merchant, 20 January 1720/1721. Burthen is stated to be '484 tuns or thereabouts'.
